Bowling

The Bowling Green has reopened for the summer season (from 31st March 2024)

All our bowling teams are keen for new bowling members either from existing members or new members.

We have a league standard bowling green at the rear of the club with seating for spectators and bowlers.  There is a bowling pavilion with indoor seating, a terrace overlooking the bowling green with seating and a fully equipped kitchen.  Members need to join the bowling section in order to be able to bowl which is £8 per year.

The club has 8 male teams and 2 female teams which play in local leagues and all regular seek new members.  Most afternoons and evenings during the bowling season (April to October) there are matches most afternoons and weekday evenings. We employ a specialist green keeper to ensure that the green is always in tip top condition.
