Welcome To Lindley Liberal Club

Lindley Liberal Club in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire is open to members and their guests, however, non-members are welcome to come and make a decision about joining the club. The entire club was re-decorated in 2017.

There are three rooms on the ground floor with a bar in each and all are accessible for people with mobility problems. There is the FW Sykes Concert room where most entertainment happens, the Clock Tower Suite a quiet lounge for people to relax and finally the Tap room which has two large televisions.

We have a designated safeguarding person to ensure that you feel safe whilst in the club.

Members get drinks at discounted prices as well as earning bonus points that can be redeemed in December for drinks.

There is a wide range of facilities available within the club including a coffee machine, gaming machines, table tennis bowling & two full sized snooker tables

Bingo occurs three times a week and we have live acts on Saturday evenings and once a month Sunday afternoon. We also offer a quiz every Sunday and a pub quiz bi monthly

We also have a large beer garden area which is a sun trap during the summer months.

We have a number of rooms for hire including the air conditioned Concert Room which is available for hire for functions during certain days and evenings.   We have in house catering which can provide food at competitive rates.  The meeting room is available for hire and can accommodate up to 40 people.  We also have our bowling pavilion which can accommodate up to 20 people.

A number of groups meet at the club on a regular basis. We have Slimming World who meet Tuesday teatime/early evenings and Wednesday mornings. The Bubble Venture meet on Thursday mornings which is a wellness and weight loss support group.   Chimes meet every Tuesday morning and is a group dedicated to our older local residents. More recently Lindley Women’s Institute have started meeting at the club on Monday evenings.  It isn’t necessary to be members of the club to utilise these groups.

The Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) meet at least once a month and use the club as their base.  We also have a Stamp Club and Coin Club that meet Monday afternoons, a Chess Club which meet Friday evenings for juniors and Saturday day time for seniors. We also have a book club which meets once a month. Finally Heartline, a support group for heart patients bowl on several mornings.

The club is accessible from 9am every day for snooker and bowling although the bar opens later.

We run a weekly lotto draw with slips available throughout the club and the prize money can be up to £1000

The club has BT Sports and Sky Sports and every Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon football is shown on the big screen in the concert room. Other matches are shown on the televisions in the Taproom.
